My goal - $50k by 50

OMG - how is it that 50 is just around the corner??! I swear it was just last week that I was enjoying dollar drinks at Hoagies?! Rather than running from the inevitable - I've decided to embrace it and make it something wonderful. I'm going to raise $50k for women's and kids' organisations before I'm 50!!! (I'm the one on the right) Our first event raised $4,750.65 for RizeUp!!!

How I'll do it

I am going to find AWESOME people in my community who are keen to help me find my joy by coming along to events when they can. To be honest, a big reason I'm doing this is that I don't get to see the people I love often enough! Why pay others to organise a night out, when I can do it, and raise money for people who need it at the same time! I'm hoping to find like-minded businesses who are keen to help cover some of the costs for these amazing events, so we party more often!

Why 'Party with Purpose'

As my kids have gotten older, there have recently been more opportunities to reconnect with my friends, and I have LOVED it! I realised how wonderful I feel when I'm around my ladies ♡ So that's why I landed on this endeavour. I will plan awesome events - NOT fundraisers. When you come along, don't stress that you're going to be put on the spot with a million silent auctions/raffles. It's a fun night out, first and foremost! There's money set aside from each ticket price to go to the cause identified for each event. That's it. We want the event price to give our people great value for money, but with a bit left over for our nominated charity. I can't wait to put together some amazing events to share with my people... and their people... and their people... and also give some money back to the people who work directly with people experiencing hardship. We're all people - let's be awesome together! ♡

Fun is a priority
  • The primary goal is to plan a range of events that people truly want to attend.
Value for money
  • I want all attendees to feel that the entry fee for each event is good value for money for them.
Partnering with verified charities
  • I'm sticking in my lane with this venture. I'm not an expert at helping people who have experienced abuse or homelessness. So I have found some brilliant organisations, like RizeUp, to whom I can contribute money.
Building a community of like-minded individuals
  • I honestly believe that by bringing together a group of people who all like having fun and want to make the world a better place, we can do some amazing things. If you're a business that would like to sponsor an event, or just part of an event, let me know - this is going to be something special - I just KNOW it!!!
